Jointly organised with Techstars, Google for Education Malaysia and the Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC), SWKL is a 54-hour active programme designed to provide an experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. With a combined focus on education and technology, it kicks off with Friday night pitches that engage participants in active brainstorming sessions and business plan development, and continues on the weekend with lessons on prototype creation which are then presented to judges and members of the floor during its demonstration event.
Participants in this programme are also supported with the best tools and approaches at their disposal, and essentially learn to take giant leaps toward creating a business, becoming a founder, and connecting with the right people and resources while surrounded by smart and passionate mentors, investors, co-founders, and sponsors.
SWKL’s entire weekend activity are basically centred on action, innovation, and education and serves to be the most ideal platform for entrepreneurs to put an idea to the test, to seek feedback, to hunt for a possible co-founder, to acquire a specific skill set, or even to gather a team for execution support. In just 54 hours, SWKL participants are exposed to the highs, lows, excitement, and pressures that define the pulsating life of a startup.
